MORE ABOUT CRAFT WORKSHOPS
CARD MAKING
Card making forms the backbone of our week. There will be tuition in basic skills and many projects in contrasting styles and designs for you to try. You are free to progress at your own speed with no pressure to start or finish as a group.
There will be no expensive equipment involved; what you are shown on the course you will be able to make at home.
CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING Painting with a Chinese brush opens new avenues of colour and form. You will be surprised at how quickly you can learn the basic skills. For those experienced in this medium, we have a large selection of authentic prints from which to work.
ENCAUSTIC WAX Learn this ancient art form using everyday household equipment. Create fascinating abstract images from melted wax, learn how to incorporate this unusual craft into your card making. Easy when you know how.

GLASS PAINTING I am sure this needs no detailed introduction, fun to do and can have stunning results when used on acetate in card making or as a  decoration for the kitchen window.
OIL, ACRYLIC AND WATER COLOURS You need to bring your own materials please. The opportunities are endless, rocks and seascapes, old door ways, wild flowers in May.
OUR ARTISTIC FRIENDS During the week we hope to introduce you to the work of an iconographer, a caricaturist and a modern jewellery maker, all resident in the Lindos area.
